First of all, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to express our deep appreciation for the incredible dedication and hard work that you are doing on the front-lines: combating the current global COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented public health crisis throughout the world. In view of the continuing uncertain situation and travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee of ISAAR has decided to hold the 13th International Symposium on Antimicrobial Agents and Resistance (ISAAR 2021) as a virtual congress, from September 9 to 10, 2021.
The current global health crisis caused by COVID-19 shows, more than ever, the importance of infectious diseases expertise, and the high need for further fighting against antimicrobial resistance (AMR). For two days of ISAAR 2021, under the theme of “Navigating Uncharted Waters: Antimicrobial Resistance in the Era of Pandemic”, brings together leading scientists and researchers from all over the world to share information and updated knowledge on antimicrobial resistance and its treatment, development of new antimicrobial agents and vaccines as well as current pandemic crisis of COVID-19 and other emerging infectious diseases.
ISAAR 2021 focuses on diverse topics with broad interdisciplinary interest, with state-of-the-art lectures and presentations by distinguished speakers in a highly interactive online environment, featuring video-streaming presentations with live Q&A and on-demand sessions. Also, e-poster halls and interactive booths will provide global audience with unique experience of networking and learning each other during the meeting.
