From California to Florida, IDSA Reaches TV Audiences Nationwide with COVID-19 Information
In the span of six hours on March 25, IDSA spokespersons participated in 24 television interviews with news stations in major media markets across the country in a continued effort to offer credible information on the COVID-19 pandemic. During the satellite media tour, IDSA Treasurer Helen Boucher, M.D., FIDSA and Board Member Wendy Armstrong, M.D., FIDSA fielded some of the most commonly asked and pressing questions about the pandemic.
IDSA President Tom File, MD, FIDSA participated in a radio media tour on April 1 and spokesperson Carlos del Rio, M.D., FIDSA will speak with English and Spanish-speaking radio stations on April 2. Both will answer questions about COVID-19 for audiences nationwide.
