Join the May Advocacy Webinar and Become an ID Advocate!

IDSA, HIVMA, and PIDS appreciate your continued advocacy efforts! IDSA members had a record number of meetings with their members of Congress last year, with many occurring in the local offices of Senators and Representatives during the summer recesses. 

IDSA and HIVMA staff are here to prepare and organize a meeting.  As a first step, we are hosting an Advocacy Webinar in May. Please email Lisa Cox, IDSA’s Director of Government Relations, to receive details on the webinar including registration information.

During the webinar, fellow IDSA/HIVMA member advocates will share their experiences meeting with their members of Congress. You will learn how your advocacy can make a difference in addition to practical tips on conducting productive meetings and building relationships with elected officials and their staff.  We will offer role-play examples to get you ready to take action, and answer any questions you may have.
