Apply to Serve: IDSA/HIVMA Call for Committee Volunteers Now Open

The Annual IDSA/HIVMA Call for Committee Volunteers is now open and will run through April 24. The success of the Society depends on you, our members. Your knowledge and expertise help shape the policies and direction of the Society and your willingness to contribute your valuable time and energy is greatly appreciated

New this year, we have launched an online platform to manage volunteer opportunities on MyIDSA. The new volunteer portal makes it easier than ever to volunteer and to see new volunteer opportunities as they arise. In order to peruse the volunteer opportunities available, you will need to login to the site using the same username and password you use to login to the IDSA website. If you have forgotten your password, simply click “reset password.” If you need further assistance, please contact our membership department at membership@idsociety.org and the staff will be happy to answer your questions.

A full list of current volunteer opportunities, primarily serving on IDSA and HIVMA committees, is listed in the volunteer portal. For each opportunity you will find the purpose of the committee and the qualifications and anticipated time commitment asked of those who volunteer. To apply to serve, follow the simple directions online.

In valuing diversity and inclusion, we would like to provide as many members as possible an opportunity to contribute to IDSA activities through volunteering. It’s also important that our community of volunteers represents the full diversity of our membership.
