Help Shape the Society’s Future: Apply for the IDSA or HIVMA Board of Directors
Members who volunteer their time to serve in leadership roles contribute to the society’s continued achievement. Toward this end, we are seeking applications for several open positions on the IDSA Board of Directors. Specifically, volunteers for:
- the office of vice president (who will become president-elect the following year, president the third year, and immediate past president the fourth year)
- three director positions on IDSA’s board (who will each serve three-year terms)
These terms will begin in October, immediately following IDWeek 2020.
If interested, please carefully review the ideal characteristics and position descriptions. To apply, visit the volunteer opportunities page on MyIDSA (member login required). The selection process will be in keeping with IDSA’s inclusion, diversity, access and equity goals. Our definition of diversity is broad and includes race, ethnicity, gender, work setting, region, professional activity and key areas of expertise, among other factors.
The HIVMA Board of Directors is also recruiting for six open seats. Learn more by visiting the HIVMA website.
