Wuhan 2019-nCoV Resources Available on IDSA Website
The identification of a novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China, earlier this month, that has since been diagnosed among travelers from the central China city to other Asian countries, and to a patient in Washington state, has led to public health screening at select United States airports. It has also prompted a meeting of a World Health Organization Emergency Committee to weigh the international threat posed by the virus.
IDSA issued this press release and is following the outbreak and providing information on its Wuhan nCoV resource page launched Jan. 17. The page, which includes links to recommendations and news from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, as well as continuing Science Speaks coverage, will be updated as needed. Please send suggested resources for the page to IDSA Editorial and Policy Director Antigone Barton.
