Science Speaks Goes to Geneva
When international health leaders gathered in Geneva from May 20 – 28, IDSA’s Senior Vice President for Public Policy and Government Relations Amanda Jezek and Senior Global Health Policy Specialist Rabita Aziz were there participating in meetings and providing Science Speaks coverage of topics that included:
- The impacts of climate change on the spread of global infectious diseases;
- Persisting gaps in responses to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo;
- Challenges confronting the antibiotic research and development pipeline; and
- Obstacles and efforts to increasing vaccine access, acceptance worldwide.
