Build Stewardship, Infection Control, Healthcare Epidemiology Skills Online
The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America is offering an online training course for students, trainees, physicians and other healthcare professionals in infectious diseases to build their understanding of healthcare epidemiology, infection control and antimicrobial stewardship.
Using interactive case-based scenarios, the course covers topics that include pathogen transmission, antimicrobial stewardship implementation, outbreak management in healthcare settings, approaches to controlling bioterrorism agents, multidrug-resistance, and device and surgical site infections.
The 13-part course, eligible for a maximum of 4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 credits, is available to fellows and allied professionals members for $149, to fellows and allied professionals non-members for $199, to physician members for $349, and physician non-members for $399.
